Belatedly launched on PC, GTA V takes us back to the free-roaming world of Los Santos and combines genre-defining gameplay with fantastic visuals. It's no surprise this is one of the best-selling video games of all time.

Want to play GTA V on your PC at very high quality settings and at 1080p? Even a Radeon HD 7970 will do.

And you don't need a powerhouse of a GPU at 2,560x1,440, either.

This pattern is becoming familiar. Fury X can't match the GTX 980 Ti at the lowest resolution but its combination of brute shading force and incredible bandwidth get it back in the game at 4K. Both premium cards offer a lovely 4K GTA V experience.

It takes the Fury a little longer to process the 99th percentile frame.

Winner: GeForce GTX 980 Ti by a whisker.
